Brad Curtis Calhoun

Brad Curtis Calhoun, born on October 26, 1949, in Dixon, Illinois, passed away peacefully at his residence on May 16, 2026. He was 76 years old.

Brad dedicated much of his life to his career as a crane operator. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He had many interests that brought him joy throughout his life. Brad loved R.C. car racing and watching Nascar events. He enjoyed playing golf and fishing whenever he could find the time. Watching sports was another way he liked to relax, and he especially liked to treat himself to ice cream. He also enjoyed playing cards with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Betty Calhoun. Brad is survived by his wife, Roda Calhoun; daughter, Charissa Calhoun, and her companion, Robert Busch of Auburndale; step-daughters Madon Moody and her husband Michael from Las Vegas, Nevada, and Marve Howe from Orlando; sister, Rebecca Day of Atlanta, Georgia; granddaughter, Kali Busch; and granddog, Griffey.
