Bobby L. Youngblood of Frostproof passed away Friday, August 7, 2009 at his residence.
He was born July 20, 1943 in Frostproof to the late Hobby D. & Minnie Lee (Mooreland) Youngblood; he was a lifelong resident of Frostproof. He was a dispatcher for Ben Hill Griffin, of the Baptist faith and a veteran of Viet Nam, serving in the U.S. Army. He was an avid Gator's Fan and enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing.
Bobby was preceded in death by his sister, Macy Cornelius. Survivors include his wife, Libby Youngblood; daughters, Amy Crews of Frostproof, Malynda Ooten of Frostproof and Jennifer Purser of Wauchula; son, Ronnie Segura of Sebring; sister, Annette Serdynski of Alturas; 8 grandchildren, 1 niece and 5 nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Monday, August 10, 2009 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
