Bobby L Respress

Bobby L. Respress, 78, of Frostproof passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at his residence.

He was born April 28, 1937 in Frostproof, Florida to the late Eddie and Cleo (Tindell) Respress and he has been a lifelong resident of this area. He was a retired supervisor for Alico Inc. after 36 years. Bobby loved flower and vegetable gardening, being with his grandkids and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Frostproof.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, W.D. “Bill” Respress of Zephyrhills and Harry Respress of Sarasota.

Survivors include his wife of 59 1/2 years Grace Respress; daughter, Terri Bass and husband Kenneth of Lake Wales; sons, Larry W. Respress and wife Cindy of Ft. Meade, David A. Respress and wife Kathy of Winter Haven; sisters, Edith Marlow of Frostproof, Betty Feaster of Babson Park, Marie Sellers and husband David of Frostproof; 7 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Frostproof with Rev. Darrol Hood officiating. Family will receive friends on Thurs., July 2, 2015 from 10:00 Am until service time.
