LAKE WALES--Bobby Eugene Love, 77, of Lake Wales passed away Monday, December 24, 2007 at the Winter Haven Hosptial.

Born May 28, 1930 in Trenton, FL; he came here from Trenton in 1943. He had a long career in road construction, which included 24 years with Superior Paving Company in Lakeland. He was a member of the Village Church of God in Winter Haven. He was very active in his church, serving on the Church Council and the building committee. In his early years he was an avid outdoorsman. He also loved to travel and enjoyed being with his family. He always said “his family and church were most important.”

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Remus & Elizabeth Love; and a brother, Billy Ray Love. Survivors include his wife, Donahu Love of Lake Wales; daughter, Pamela O’Sullivan of Orlando; son, Randall Love of Chattanooga, TN; brother, Remus “R.P.” Love Jr. of Babson Park; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Thursday, December 27, 2007 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, December 28, 2007 at the Village Church of God in Winter Haven with Pastor Ronnie C. Luke officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
