Bobbie Taylor

Bobbie Taylor of Lake Wales passed away June 25, 2012 at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center.

He was born July 18, 1947 in Adolphus, KY to the late Carline & Helen Virginia (Fowler) Taylor; and he came here in 2003 from Lafayette, IN. He was retired from Vectren Energy in Lafayette, IN and was a member of the Wayside Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and flower gardening.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Sherry Taylor; daughter, Theresa Taylor-Cahill (Timothy) of New Mexico; son, Michael Taylor of Port Charlotte; sisters, Barbara Davies of Lafayette, IN and Loretta Kerr of Bradenton; brothers, Ronnie Taylor of Bremen, IN and Jimmie Taylor of East Jordan, MI; three grandchildren, Brooke & Hailey Taylor of Colfax, IN and Dannielle Taylor of Lake Wales; and one great-grandchild.

Memorial service will be held 6:00 pm Thursday, July 5, 2012 at the Wayside Baptist Church with Rev. Herb Schlinker officiating.
