LAKE WALES--Bob L. Creeden, 82, of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, October 20, 2007 due to respiratory failure at Lake Wales Medical Center.

Born March 22, 1925 in Liberal, KS; he came to Lake Wales from San Diego, CA 8 years ago. He was retired from the U.S. Navy. Bob was a volunteer for 'Meals on Wheels' in San Diego, CA and a member of the Fleet Reserves. He enjoyed reading, puzzles, computer games and watching football.

Bob was preceded by his son, Bobby Creeden; and parents, E. C. & Henretta Creeden. Survivors include his wife, Joyce I. Creeden of Lake Wales; daughters, Melody Epsom of Orlando; Karen Creeden of Los Angeles, CA; son, Patrick Townsend of Lake Wales; brothers, Ben Creeden of Garden City, KS; Jim Creeden of Sublette, KS; Bill Creeden of Pensicola; sisters, Joann Moore of Dodge City, KS; Nita Southerland of Santana, KS; Mary Allingham of Lakeside, CA; Janie DeWall of Coldwater, KS; Diane Creeden of Denver, CO; and 2 grandchildren, Michelle and Mathew.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Sublette, KS. For those who wish, donations may be sent to the Lake Wales Care Center, Woman’s Shelter, 140 East Park Avenue, Lake Wales, Florida 33853.
