Bo Walden of Avon Park passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at his residence.

He was born September 3, 1952 in Bartow to the late Thomas and Dorothy Walden; he has been a resident of Avon Park for 35 years. He was a retired pipe fitter/welder, an ordained minister and served in the Special Forces in the U.S. Army Reserves. He passionately loved the Lord with everything in him and stayed active in his local church. He was a family man, loved his family and grandchildren and always put others first. He enjoyed sports, hunting and fishing; and was a proud supporter of the U.S. Military. He loved Frostproof and lettered in four sports during his high school years.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Nan Walden; daughters, Erin Ward (Patrick) and Lacey Sunealitis (Matt); sons, Michael Walden (Christina) and Toby Walden (Priscilla); brothers, Larry Walden, Waylon Walden and Charlie Walden; and thirteen grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 15. 2021 at the Family Life Church in Frostproof. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
