Billy Anderson

Billy Anderson of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016 at the Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale.

He was born July 2, 1938 in Wauchula to the late Ary and Grace Anderson; he moved here from Tampa 20 years ago. He was retired from Kraft General Foods, a member of the Wayside Baptist Church and a veteran of Korea, serving in the U.S. Air Force. He loved gardening, hunting, fishing and fish fry’s. He was a tremendously giving person.

Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Walker Anderson in 2013. Survivors include his children, Sharon Boyington (Steve) of Gulf Shores, AL, Barbara Morrow of Melbourne and Robert Anderson (Tina) of Lake Wales; two brothers, Joe Anderson of Deland and John Anderson of Lake Wales; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held at the Wayside Baptist Church Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 1:00PM with Rev. Herb Schlenker officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, FL 33823.
