Billie Paul Martin, 81

Billie P. Martin of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Auburndale.
He was born January 9, 1937 in Geneva, Alabama to the late Clem C. and Annie M. (Massey) Martin. He has been a lifelong resident of the area and was a retired Chief Diesel Mechanic for 35 years. He was in the Army National Guard for 30 years. He was of the Baptist faith. Bill loved hunting, fishing, camping and anything outdoors.

He his preceded in death by his wife Harriet Martin, son Billie Paul Martin Jr., daughter Sherry Meyers and grandson Troy Cockrum.
Survivors include his daughters Shawn Moseley and Fiance Mark, Shelia Cockrum and husband Dennis,son William Martin. 8 grandchildren Kayla Croft, Ronni Moseley, Amber Haus, Sarah Cockrum, Michael Martin, Rocky Meyers, Andrew Meyers, and Matthew Meyers, 7 great grandchildren Levi Croft, Reese Haus, Chase Haus, Bailey Martin, Jake Martin, Kaitlyn Meyers, Adam Meyers.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 1:00PM until service time at 2:00 PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
