LAKE WALES -- Mrs. Beverly S. Brock of Lake Wales died of heart failure Wednesday (May 24, 2006) at Dove Healthcare. She was 62.

Born in Thomasville, Ga., on June 7, 1943, she came to Lake Wales from there in 1962. She worked in sales and shipping for Citrosuco and Alcoma for 29 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lake Wales.

Mrs. Brock is survived by her husband, Nolan C. Brock; daughter, Teresa Vorous, Lake Wales; son, Gregory Brock, Fort Pierce; parents, Donald and Muriel Singletary, Thomasville, Ga.; brothers, Don Singletary, Albany, Ga., Charles Singletary, Gainesville; sister, Lisa Hall, Thomasville; four grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
