Betty Lou Winters, 96

Betty Lou Winters of Lake Wales and Frostproof passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023 at The Palm in Sebring.

She was born October 17, 1927 in Battle Creek, Michigan to the late Garland and Elsie Fisher; she moved to the area in 1976 from Jacksonville. Betty was a secretary for First Presbyterian Church of Frostproof and was previously a member of South Lake Wales Church of God. She served as president of the Women of the Church of God from 1977 until 1988.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, John Winters; and sister, Wanda Parker. She is survived by her nephew, Bruce Parker of Indiana.

No services are scheduled at this time. Interment will be at Lake Wales Cemetery.
