BETTY JEAN "B.J." SUTFIN, 97
Betty J. Sutfin of Frostproof, Florida passed away Monday, August 19, 2019 at the Oaks at Avon.
She was born November 9, 1921 in Charlotte, Michigan to the late William H. and Ilza (MacArthur) Sparks. She has been a resident of the area since 1999 coming from Charlotte, Michigan. She was a Police Officer for the City of Lansing for 25 years. Betty was a member of the Eastern Star, White Shrine, the Women’s Club of Charlotte Michigan and former Activities Director for the Lilly Lake Mobil Home Park.
She is preceded in death by her husband Cecil Sutfin, son Jerry Combs, stepson Michael Sutfin and 5 brothers Donald, Russell, Robert, Gordon and Kenneth Sparks.
She is survived by her daughter Carol Bostwick of Frostproof, FL, son Randy Combs of Bloomfield Hill, MI, stepdaughters Shirley Sullivan, Jeanne Sutfin, step son Gary Sutfin, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
