Betty Jane Stanfield, 87

Betty Jane Stanfield of Lake Wales passed away Friday, December 29, 2023 at her residence in Water’s Edge.

She was born November 14, 1936 in Sherwood, Tennessee to the late George and Alma Hoosier; she moved to Lake Wales from Alturas three years ago. Betty was the owner and operator of Nana & Papa’s Little Darlings Children’s Store and was attended the Eloise United Methodist Church. She was an interior designer and enjoyed making floral designs. She was a member of the Journeymen Singers and traveled to many places.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie B. Stanfield; and sons, Jeffrey Stanfield and Jonathan Stanfield. She is survived by her sons, Jessie Stanfield, Jr. of Alturas and William Stanfield and wife Missy of Winter Haven; daughters, Pamela Bobo and husband Kenneth of Auburndale and Beth Reed and husband Stephen of Lake Wales; sister, Freda Brooks of Eloise; many grandchildren; and many greatgrandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Namesake Apostolic Church in Lake Wales. Interment will follow at Church of Christ Cemetery in Eagle Lake.
