Betty Rose Moat

Betty Rose Griner Moat, 79, of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014 at her residence.

She was born September 1, 1934 in Bainbridge, Georgia to the late George E. and Ruby (Ernest) Griner and has been a resident of the area since 1968 moving here from Bainbridge, Georgia. She was a Homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Moat in 1992; brother, Gerald Griner and sister, Delilah Gammage

Survivors include her daughters, Diane Dyas and husband Robert of Tavares, FL, Elizabeth Reeves of Lake Wales, Joyce Moat of Dundalk, Maryland, Alice Lawson of Lake Wales, Lisa Hamel and husband Gaten of Auburn, AL, Roseanne Narvaez and husband Gil of Winter Haven; sons, Hardy Moat and wife Kay of Colorado Springs, Co. Ray Moat of Lake Wales; sister, Sylvia Thornton of Camilla, Ga, Bernette Matthews of Brinson, Georgia; brother, Louie Griner of Leesburg, FL; 19 Grandchildren, 37 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild

Funeral services will be held at the Ivey Funeral Home in Bainbridge, Georgia.
