Betty June Mize, 80

Betty J. Mize of Lake Wales passed away Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale.

She was born March 18, 1934 in Graceville, Florida to the late Charles and Bobbie Creel and has been a lifelong resident of the area. She was a Respiratory Therapist and was a member of the First Assembly of God in Lake Wales.

She is preceded in death by her husband John J. Mize and daughter Barbara Carter.

Survivors include her sons Hubert Carter and wife Audrey of Lake Wales, FL; 4 Grandchildren and 1 Step grandchild, 3 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 10:30AM on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the National Cemetery in Sarasota.
