Betty Jo Marinos

Betty Jo Marinos of Waverly passed away Saturday, October 1, 2011 at the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center.

She was born April 30, 1932 in Lake Wales to the late Garland and Myrtle (Powell) White; and has been a lifelong resident of this area. She was a retired bookkeeper employed by medical offices and hospitals. She attended the First Baptist Church of Waverly, and was pianist in many churches.

Survivors include her son, Jeff Marinos (Julia) of Jacksonville; and three grandchildren- Jordann Marinos (Camille) of Naples, Jazmine Marinos of Jacksonville, and Josiah Marinos of Jacksonville.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, October 10, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Waverly.
