Teacher's Aide

LAKE WALES -- Mrs. Betty L. Cascone of Lake Wales died of heart failure Saturday (Feb. 25, 2006) at Lake Wales Medical Center. She was 65.

Born in Louisville, Ky., on May 27, 1940, she came to Lake Wales from Bedford, Ind., in 1997. She was a retired teacher's aide for the public school system. She was a Baptist.

Mrs. Cascone is survived by her husband, John Cascone; daughters, Teresa Tolbert, Mitchell, Ind., Gina Casone, Key West; sons, Norvin Jones, Shoals, Ind., Johnny Jones, Williams, Ind.; brothers, Robert Rodman, David Rodman, Carl Rodman, all of Louisville, James Rodman, Lake Wales, Edward Rodman, Bedford, Ind.; sister, Carol Thasher, Bedford; three grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Marion Nelson Funeral Home of Lake Wales. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel.
