Betty Wendell Brewer, 86
Betty Brewer of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at the Winter Haven Hospital.
She was born November 5, 1932 in Okeechobee, Florida to the late Charlie C. and Eva Mae (Woods) Davis. She has been a resident of the area since 1955 coming from Mobile, Alabama. She was a retired waitress for the Sea Queen Restaurant and a member of the Westside Baptist Church. Betty was a giver and caretaker for many, she loved her dog “Phoebe”. She was a loving and caring person loved by everyone.
She is preceded in death by her husband James Oliver Brewer, brothers Earl Davis, Buddy Davis, Stanley Davis and sister Lucille Shores.
She is survived by her daughter Teri (Greg) McMaster of Lake Wales, FL, sons Andy Brewer of Lake Wales, FL, Bobby (Cheryl) Brewer of Winter Haven, FL, brothers Gene (Phillis) Freeman of Lake Wales, FL, sisters Charlotte (Otis) Langham of Robertsdale AL, Elaine Allen of Lake Wales, FL, and 5 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held 10:00 AM until service time 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Bolden officiating. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Westside Baptist Church at 333 Lime Avenue Lake Wales, FL. 33853.
