Betty Lou Bowen, 77
Betty Lou Bowen of Lake Wales passed away Friday, November 20, 2020 at Life Care in Winter Haven.
She was born July 11, 1943 in Lake Wales, Florida, to the late Roy and Inez Scarborough. Betty was a retired Legal Secretary for Peterson and Myer and of the Baptist faith. She loved candy and reading and enjoyed coloring in her free time.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband William Allen Bowen, Jr. in 2010. She is survived by her brother, Thomas C. Scarborough and wife Jenise of Lake Wales; and five nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 4, 2020 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
