Bertha Kennedy

Bertha Kennedy of Lake Wales passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the Dove Health Care.

She was born May 3, 1948 in Arcadia to the late Walter & Helen Stark; she came here from Arcadia in 1998. She was a retired security guard for Mosiac and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed crocheting and reading.

Bertha was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Stark. Survivors include her daughters, Angie & Kent Hardee of Lake Wales, and Opal Kennedy & John Carrington of West Palm Beach; sons, William W. "Billy" & Kimberly Kennedy of Knox, Indiana, John Kennedy III of North Carolina, and Norman M. Kennedy of Arcadia; sister, Ann Langford of Arcadia; brother, James Stark of Arcadia and Charlie Stark of Missouri; 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
