Bert Rodney Stewart, 85

Bert Rodney Stewart of Lake Wales passed away Friday, December 10, 2021 at AdventHealth Lake Wales.

He was born September 18, 1936 in Lake Pepin, Wisconsin to the late Harry and Myrtle Stewart; he moved to Lake Wales from Nevada 20 years ago. Bert was a retired mining controller and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He volunteered with mission trips and helped with the local schools. He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, and traveling.

Bert is survived by his wife of 30 years, Janet Stewart; daughter, Tammi Albrecht and husband Troy of Medford, Oregon; sons, Rodney Douglas Stewart and wife Cindy of Medford, Oregon, and Bert Montgomery “Monty” Stewart and wife Tamara of Medford, Oregon; and 12 grandchildren.
