LAKE WALES--Bernard F. “Bernie” Wiser Jr., 79, of Lake Wales died Thursday, August 09, 2007 at his home.

Born November 08, 1027 in Bethel, Michigan; he came here from Statesboro, Georgia in 2002. He was a retired master carpenter for Walt Disney World. He was of the Lutheran faith; served in the U.S. Army from 1946 until 1950; and served in the U.S. National Guard from 1954 until 1955. He was a member of the Bartow American Legion and the Lake Wales Moose Lodge #1291.

Mr. Wiser was preceded in death by his wife, Helen L. Wiser in 1989. Survivors include his daughter, Jeannie A. Wiser of Lake Wales; sister, Arlene Platz of New Port Richey; and a niece, Patti Banghart of New Port Richey.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 16, 2007 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
