LAKE WALES--Benny R. Shedd of Lake Wales died Friday, January 12, 2007 at his residence. He was 56
Born December 25, 1950 in Detroit, MI; he came to Lake Wales from Leesburg 18 years ago. He was a fire alarm technician. He attended the Holy Spirit Catholic Church and was a veteran of Viet Nam, serving in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a member of the Lake Wales Moose Lodge and the Masonic Lodge in Saline, MI.
Survivors include his wife, Eileen Shedd of Lake Wales; daughter, Nicole Shedd of Lake Wales; sons, Benny “Bear” Shedd of Lake Wales; Daniel Shedd of Lake Wales; brothers, David Allen of Belleville, MI; Jack Allen of Belleville, MI; sisters, Patsy Patterson of Romulus, MI; Theresa Allen of California; grandchild, Harley Nicole Shedd.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, Janaury 18, 2007 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lake Wales.
