Benjamin Harrison “Ben” Norman, Jr., 83

Benjamin Harrison “Ben” Norman of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Advent Health Lake Wales under the care of Vitas Hospice.

He was born October 22, 1938 in Cherry Valley, Arkansas to the late Benjamin and Rudy Norman; he moved to Lake Wales from Cherry Valley, Arkansas in 1958. Ben was a retired welder for Haines City Exchange and was of the Pentecostal faith. He raised orchids and chickens, and enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and watching wrestling on TV.

Ben was preceded in death by his brothers; and sisters He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Judy Norman; sons, Lonny Norman (Lori) of Cowarts, Alabama, and Harrison Glen Norman (Paulette) of Rockmart, Georgia; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 4, 2021 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. Denny Cothern officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
