ROBERTA, Ga. -- Mrs. Belle L. Collins of Roberta, Ga., formerly of Lake Wales, died of heart failure Wednesday (Sept. 21, 2005) at Portsbridge Hospice in Macon, Ga. She was 92.

Born in Cook County, Ga., on Sept. 30, 1912, Mrs. Collins lived in Lake Wales before moving to Roberta, Ga., in 1995. She was a retired fruit packer for Lake Wales Citrus Growers Association. She was a charter member of Golfview Park Church of God.

Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by her husband, Joe. R. Collins. She is survived by her sons, James J. Collins, Macon, Leon Collins, Lizella, Ga., Don Collins, West Palm Beach; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four greatgreat-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Golfview Park Church of God. Interment will follow in Lake Wales Cemetery mausoleum.
