FROSTPROOF--Beatrice Lanier, 91 of Frostproof died of heart failure Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at The Grove Center.

Born January 11, 1916 in Frostproof; where she has been a lifelong resident. She was a retired lunchroom worker for Frostproof Elementary School and a member of the Frostproof Church of God.

Mrs. Lanier was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Lanier in 1998, and her daughter, Vannessa Dozier in 1994. Survivors include her brother; Kelly Sheffield of Frostproof; sisters, Melbert Hawkins of Frostproof; Alvena Arnold of Frostproof; Ruby Cannon of Lakeland; Alda Phillips of Lakeland; grandson, Jeriame Jackson of Frostproof; great-granddaughter, Madison Jackson of Frostproof.

The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 19, 2007 at the Frostproof Church of God with Rev. Leon Groover and Rev. Curtis Arnold officiating. Interment will follow at the Eden Cemetery in Frostproof.
