Barry K. Hill

Barry K. Hill of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, October 21, 2010 in Lake Wales.

He was born March 31, 1953 in Grundy, VA; he came here 2 years ago from Defiance, OH. He was a retired core machine operator for General Motors and of the Pentecostal faith. He enjoyed fishing, was family oriented and liked old cars and motorcycles. Barry was loved by his family and was good hearted. He was a good husband, father and grandfather and made a lasting impression to all.

Barry was preceded in death by his mother, Gennabee Stiltner Hill. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Debbie Hill; sons, Kenneth Ray Hill of Lake Wales and Donnie E. Hill of Defiance, OH; step-son, James Silas Scott of Winter Haven; daughter, Gennabea & Robert Rhodes of Lake Wales; father, Donald Hill of Defiance, OH; brother, Larry Michael Hill of Defiance, OH; and 3 grandchildren, Pheniox Rhodes, McKala Hill and Cody Hill.

Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 8:00 PM, Monday, October 25, 2010 and the funeral service will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof with Pastor John Cannon officiating. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
