Barry Dewayne Ellis of Frostproof passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at the Tampa General Hospital.
He was born August 2, 1962 in Lake Wales; and is a lifelong resident of the area. He was a painter for General Engines, and a member of the Church on the Ridge. He enjoyed fishing, and growing ornamental flowers, and was a Gator fan.
Survivors include his father, Clarence Davis Ellis; mother, Hazel Dolph; brothers, Terry Ellis, T. Anthony Ellis, Davis G. Ellis; step-sister, Brenda Pruitt; step-brothers, Bryan Hutto, Michael Hutto, and Stacy Gregg.
Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, December 23, 2010 at the Church on the Ridge, Frostproof, with visitation at 2:00 PM. Rev. Robby Weatherholt and Rev. James B. wood officiating.
