Barbara Messer “Sue” Turner, 80

Barbara Messer “Sue” Turner of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023 at AdventHealth Lake Wales.

She was born March 11, 1943 in Cuthbert, Georgia; she moved to Lake Wales from Tennessee in 1975. Sue was a retired secretary for the Polk County School Board and a member of Impact Church in Lake Wales. She enjoyed reading and watching Jimmy Swygert.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Turner in 1998; and son, Scott Bunch in 2018. She is survived by her step-son, Mark Turner of Lake Wales; daughter-in-law, Heather Bunch; grandson, Dalton Bunch; and nephews, Chuck Messer of New Jersey, and Daniel Messer of Lake Wales.
