BARBARA LEE SNOWDEN, 91
Barbara L. “Grandma Boots” Snowden of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Friday, November 22, 2019 at Somers Hospice House.
She was born March 16, 1928 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late John A. and Pauline M. (Thompson) Cox. She has been a resident of the area since 1995 coming from Pine Island, Florida. She was a retired Medical Assistant in Ft. Lauderdale. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, enjoyed reading, and was active in her church.
She is preceded in death by her husband Gerald F. Snowden, daughters Pamela Aber, Lorraine Compton.
She is survived by her daughters Brenda Habibi and husband Sam of Hollywood, FL, Sharon LaFon of Lake Wales, FL, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, December 6, 2019 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home.
