Barbara Mcowan Kincaid

Barbara Kincaid, 83, of Barco, NC, formerly of Lake Wales, FL, passed away from cancer Wednesday, December 25, 2013, at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, Chesapeake, VA.

Barbara was born April 14, 1930, in Shanghai, China, to the late Alan Ian and Kathleen Rosa (Tamkin) McOwan. She had been a resident of Lake Wales from 1947 until 2011 at which time Barbara moved to North Carolina to be near her daughter Kathy.

She is survived by her children, Kathy Seaton and husband David of Moyock, NC, Alan Kincaid and wife Marsha of Lake Wales, FL, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for Barbara will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 25, in the chapel of the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Wales with Reverend Chad Reynolds officiating.

The family has invited guests to attend a reception in the parish hall immediately following the service.
