Barbara Vincent Brokaw

Barbara Vincent Brokaw, age 71, of Lake Wales passed away on Monday, March 22, 2010. Born in Dundee November 3, 1938 to Trummie and Milton Hathcock, and graduated from Haines City High School.

She will always be remembered as a dedicated mother who loved her children deeply. She was an accomplished business woman with a long, successful career in commercial real estate lending in Palm Beach County.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Vickie Tuimala (husband Michael); her son, Timothy Smith (fiance Robyn Sadie); her sister, Patricia Draper; granddaughter, Kaitlin; and nieces, Melody (husband Pat) Morgan, and Meredith McKenna.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, March 25, 2010 at the Episcopal Church of The Good Shepherd of Lake Wales. A reception in her honor will be held at the Lake Wales Country Club following the service. In Barbara's memory, in lieu of flowers, family requests donations to The Good Shepherd Hospice (105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, FL 33823).
