Arnold Thomas Bridges

Arnold T. Bridges of Winter Haven passed away on Saturday, November 03, 2012 at the RAI Care Center in Winter Haven.

He was born October 15, 1937 in Miami, Florida to the late Alva and Callie Bridges and was a resident of the area since 1982 moving here from Miramar, Florida. He was an ordained minister of music and his ministries include Pembroke Road Baptist Church in Miramar, Lake Shipp Baptist Church and First Baptist Church both of Winter Haven. He was a man with a profound faith in Christ who dedicated his life to helping those in need.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Louisa Annette Bridges; sons, Arnold “Timothy” Bridges (Melinda) of Winter Haven, Daniel Bridges (Tessie) of Mobile, Alabama and Jonathan Bridges (Kelly) of Virginia; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be sent to the Lake Shipp Baptist Church, Bus Fund (92 High Street, Winter Haven, FL 33880).
