FROSTPROOF -- Mr. Armor Edward Lanier of Frostproof died of heart failure Wednesday (Dec. 14, 2005) at The Grove Center. He was 85.

Born in Okeechobee on May 3, 1920, he was a longtime resident of Frostproof. He worked in maintenance at Indian Lake Estates Golf Course. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Frostproof.

Mr. Lanier is survived by his daughter, Pamela Donalson, Frostproof; son, Armor Dale Lanier, Babson Park; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 3 this afternoon at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
