Anthony William “Tony” Retherford, 62

Anthony William “Tony” Retherford of Lake Wales passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Advent Health Lake Wales.

He was born November 5, 1958 in Fort Myers.; he moved to Lake Wales from North Fort Myers 9 years ago. Tony was a retired drywall installer and was of the Baptist faith. He was a Nascar fanatic and loved being on the water and fishing. He was a great family man and was very involved with his children and loved spending time with them.

Tony was preceded in death by his wife, Kelly Retherford on November 9, 2020; son, Lonnie Retherford; and father, Lonnie William Retherford. He is survived by his daughter, Keyla Quinn of Franklin, Virginia; mother, Phyllis Simmons of Lake Wales; brother, Michael Retherford and wife Debbie of Lake Wales; and seven grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Pastor Garnet Pitts and Pastor Tim Fisher officiating.
