BARTOW -- Mr. Anthony Lamar "Tony" Lancaster of Bartow died after being struck by an automobile Thursday (Oct. 20, 2005). He was 19.

Born Feb. 7, 1986, in Bartow, Mr. Lancaster was a lifelong resident of this area. He worked as an auto mechanic.

Mr. Lancaster is survived by his mother, Christine Marie Elliott, Bartow; father, Curtis Lamar Lancaster Jr., Auburndale; stepfather, Joseph Elliott, Bartow; brother, Carl Edward Francway, Bartow; sister, Ashley Marie Lancaster, Bartow; maternal grandparents, David and Gail Irelan, Kissimmee, Kathleen and Gerald Espinosa, Chicago; maternal great-grandparents, Harold and Myrtle Stanford, Lake Wales; maternal great-great-grandfather, Robert McVey, Lake Wales; paternal grandparents, Margaret and Douglas Brown, Lamar Lancaster Sr., all of Bartow; paternal great-grandmothers, Arie Lancaster, Eloise, Freddie Maye Dixon, Lake Wales.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales.
