Ante Gospic

Ante “Tony” Gospic, aged 86, of Winter Haven, Florida, peacefully departed this world on July 2, 2026. Born in the city of Zadar, Croatia, Tony's life was a testament to hard work and passion.

A dedicated machinist at Grower’s Service until his retirement in 2010, he brought precision and heart to his craft. Beyond his professional life, Tony found great joy in the simple pleasures of life—cheering for his favorite soccer teams and embracing the tranquility of fishing.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Marija and Mijet Gospic; siblings, Nade Gospic and his wife Ika, Ivan Gospic, Ljube Gospic and wife Ruzca, Ika Saric and husband Ilija Saric, nephew, Stipan Gospic and wife Milca, and grandson, Mason Chapman. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ann Gospic; daughter, Maria Chapman and husband Tom; sons, Anthony Gospic and Thomas Gospic; brothers, Mile Gospic and wife Anita, Petar Gospic and wife Janja; sister-in-law, Milenka Gospic; grandchildren, Spencer, Brittney, and Harley; as well as 8 great-grandchildren.

Tony's legacy will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him, a life woven with integrity and warmth. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 10, 2026 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
