LAKE WALES--Annie Ruth Walker of Lake Wales died Thursday (Oct. 19, 2006) at the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center in Davenport. She was 84.

Born May 05, 1922 in Frostproof; she was a lifetime resident of the area. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Lake Wales.

Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, J. Lincoln Walker in 1968. Survivors include her sons, Michael J. Walker of Lake Wales; Joseph Lincoln Walker, Jr. of Fort Meade; sister, Ida Fullerton of Babson Park; and granddaughter, Kristin Michelle Beaudua of Lake Wales.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, October 23, 2006 at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
