Annie Margaret Tucker of Lake Wales passed away December 25, 2008 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born January 11, 1917 in Bell, FL to the late Hurley C. & Ruby (Rutherford) Jones; she came here as a child. She was a retired clerk for McCroy’s Department Store and was a member of the Westside Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and traveling.

Annie was preceded in death by her husband, James Thelton Tucker in 1994 and a brother, Charles Jones. Survivors include her sons, James T. “Jim” Tucker Jr. of Lutz and Thomas A. “Tommy” Tucker of Lake Wales; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
