Annie Mae Pitts

Annie Mae Pitts 97, of Frostproof passed away Monday, September 16, 2013 at the Oaks of Avon.

She was born August 24, 1916 in Adel, Georgia to the late Lewis Thomas and Mittie Frances (Lovett) Mixon and has been a resident of the area since childhood. Annie was a Homemaker and of the Church of God faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Odell Pitts in 1972; son, Ernest Pitts in 1966 and granddaughter Nadine Lockard in 2001

Survivors include her daughters, Carol Grant and Mary Pitts both of Frostproof; sons, Lewis Pitts and Roy Pitts both of Frostproof; brother, John Mixon of Harrisburg, Arkansas; sister, Louvenia McCants of Elba, Al ; 9 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren and 10 Great Great Grandchildren


Memorial services will be held 6:00 PM Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the Southside Baptist Church in Frostproof.
