Ann Pierson, 87, of Lake Wales passed Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born February 21, 1931 in Covington County, Alabama to the late Alex J. and Etta C. Free; she moved here from West Blocton, AL in 1949. She was a retired accounts payable clerk for Belk Lindsey and a member of the Lake Wales Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Pierson in 2014.

Survivors include her sons, Wayne Pierson of Winter Haven, Ray Pierson of Starke, and Tim Pierson of Dade City; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Minister John Guzzetta officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
