Annette Baxter Durphy

Annette Baxter Durphy of Lake Wales passed away Monday, March 22, 2010 at the Dove Health Care.

She was born January 13, 1939 in Pelham, GA to the late Hugh & Frances Cloud Moye; she came here from Plantation in 1999. She was a retired comptroller and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, shopping and traveling.

Annette was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold D. Baxter and a sister, Hellen Simpson. Survivors include her husband, Richard Durphy; daughter, Trina Baxter Hancock of Lake Wales; sons, Harold Reggie Baxter of Haines City and David W. Baxter of Lake Wales; step-sons, Mark Way Durphy of Tallahassee and Tracey Richard Durphy of Miami; brothers, Don Moye of Winter Haven and Tom Moye of Greer, SC; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 10:00 AM, Friday, March 26, 2010 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Pastor Nathan Osborne officiating. Interment will follow at the Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Winter Haven.
