Anne Marie Hayes

Anne Marie Hayes of Lake Wales passed away Friday, April 3, 2009 at the Dove Health Care in Lake Wales.

She was born May 12, 1922 in Lawrence, MA to the late Joseph & Annie Gaffney Stone; she came here in 1970 from Lawrence. She was a retired bank teller for SunTrust Bank, was of the Catholic faith and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. She enjoyed reading.

Anne was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Hayes Jr and sister, Irene E. Kayworth. Survivors include her niece, Barbara Waldrop (husband-John) of Lake Wales and Betty Van Dellen (husband-Gary) of Lake Wales; nephew, Edward Kayworth (wife-Billie) of Lake Wales; and many additional grandnieces and nephews.
