Anna M. Mead of Lake Wales passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at the Winter Haven Hospital.
She was born July 16, 1981 in South Bend, Indiana; she came here in 2003 from South Carolina. She was homemaker and attended the First Christian Church. She enjoyed painting, kayaking, reading and sunning. She also enjoyed collecting dolphin & dragon figurines and loved animals.
Survivors include her fiancé, Daniel M. Scherer of Lake Wales; son, Duncan Alexander Scherer of Lake Wales; mother & step-father, Joyce & David Ochs of Lake Wales; father, Rick L. Mead of Utah; sister, Regina Kendle of Sumter, SC; step-sister, Melissa Ochs of NY; step-brother, Cody Ochs of NY; paternal-grandparents, Richard & Joyce Mead of South Bend, IN; paternal-step-grandfather, Cyril Ochs of Thomasville, GA.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 29, 2009 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with the family receiving friends at 2:00 PM.
