Anita "Nana" Lassiter

Anita Elizabeth Lassiter “Nana” of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born January 2, 1934 in Leachville, AR to the late Edd & Emily Kelley; and she came here from West Memphis, AR in 1977. She was recently retired from Wal-Mart and a member of The Pentecostals of Lake Wales.

Anita was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Lassiter and a son, Daniel Lassiter. Survivors include her daughter, Demrah Kahm of Lake Wales; son, Kenneth Lassiter of Crystal Springs, MS; sister, Lucille McClish of Mishawaka, IN; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. The funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at The Pentecostals of Lake Wales.
