Angel Sierra

Angel Sierra of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

He was born July 16, 1929 in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico to the late Gabino Sierra & Cristobalina Martinez; he came here from Somerset, NJ in 2003. He was a retired respiratory therapist from St. Peter's Medical Center in New Brunswick, NJ, was of the Pentecostal faith and served in the National Guard. He was a collector of model antique cars and coins; he enjoyed baseball and was a fan of the New York Mets and the Tampa Bay Rays.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Judith Sierra; son, Angel M. Sierra Jr of Orlando; sister, Altagracia Sierra of North Carolina; brother, Andre? Sierra of Brooklyn, NY; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday, March 29, 2012 and from 5:00 until 8:00 pm Friday, March 30, 2012 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. The funeral service will be held 10:00 am Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens in Auburndale.
