Andrew C. True

Andrew C. True “Drew” age 22, of Lake Wales passed away Friday, October 24, 2014 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center due to an automobile accident.

He was born September 22, 1992 in Brooklyn, New York to Mireya Soto and Anthony Ralph True and has been a resident of the area since 2001 moving here from Brooklyn. He was a Cook at Jay Bee’s Restaurant. Drew enjoyed fast cars and drawing, he was a people person and aspired to be a Barber. His favorite quote was “Give someone of your smile that might be the only sunshine they see all day. It can change the world, maybe not the whole world but their world.”

Survivors include his parents, Mireya “Margie” Soto of Lake Wales , Anthony R. True of Brooklyn, New York; daughter, E`nia True and her mother Kenia Salaberry of Lake Wales; sisters, Melinda Medina of Davenport, Margie Rivera of Lake Wales; brother, Kevin Mercado of Lake Wales, Anthony V. True of Lake Wales.

Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 6:00 PM until service time.
