Andrew Clair Nace

Andrew Clair Nace, born on December 24, 1948, in Hanover, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at his residence on July 1, 2026. Andrew lived a life marked by quiet dedication, service to his country, and devotion to family.

As a young man, Andrew worked alongside his father in the family's garage. He had a love for working on cars and redid multiple VW Beetles.

Answering the call of duty, Andrew was drafted into the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, serving his country with honor. Following his military service, Andrew channeled his skills and determination into a successful professional career. He dedicated many years to Gettysburg Hospital in Pennsylvania as the IT Director and retired after years from Central Florida Healthcare. Outside of his work, Andrew found enjoyment and relaxation on the golf course.

Andrew was predeceased by his beloved wife, Vea Kay Nace, whose memory he held dear. He is survived by his son, Kenneth Nace and his husband Frank Hawthorne, Jr. of Lake Wales; as well as his sister, Linda Frey and her husband Darrell of York, Pennsylvania.
