It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Alynda, who left us on Saturday, September 27th, at the age of 26.
Born on October 14, Alynda was a force from the very beginning. She was vibrant, outspoken, and unafraid to live life her way. To know her was to know someone bold, witty, and full of fire — a person who could make you laugh until your sides hurt, challenge you with her sharp mind, and love you fiercely in her own unique way. Though her time with us was far too short, she lived it unapologetically and authentically. Alynda had a spirit that could not be dimmed — she was feisty, funny, and never one to back down. She found joy in the little things, whether it was a good laugh, sharing time with loved ones, or diving into her guilty pleasure: watching endless cleaning videos and obsessing over which products worked best. It was quirks like these that made her uniquely Alynda, and we will treasure those memories always.
She is survived by daughter, Solani, her sister, Alyssa, her brother, Adrian Jae, her parents, Barbara and Daniel, her grandparents Ruth, Angel and Daniel, as well as countless friends and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory.
A service to celebrate her life will soon be announced, where we will honor the laughter, the stubbornness, the sass, and the love that made Alynda unforgettable. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Lupus Foundation of America (or other lupus-related charity), to continue the fight in her name. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.marionnelsonfuneralhome.com.
