Alvin Faris Ross “Big Al” of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Friday, December 11, 2020 at his residence.

He was born November 11, 1944 in Virginia to the late Earl and Juanita Ross; he came here from Fort Lauderdale 50 years ago. Alvin was a retired Vice President of Florida Concrete Unlimited. He was a member of the Airboat Association, the Fly Wheel Festival, and loved antique cars.

Alvin is survived by his sons, Alvin Faris Ross, II (Crystal) of Michigan, and Leonard Earl Ross (Mary Alma) of Polk City, Florida; daughter, Charlotte MaeDean Ross of Virginia; sisters, Mary Ethel Ross (Buster) of Ocala, Florida, and Mona Dean Franko's of Portsmouth, Virginia; brother, Earl Edward Ross, Jr. of Nags Head, North Carolina; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
